Blepharoplasty

The surgery may be performed on both the upper and lower eyelids, correcting sagging and dropping of the upper eyelids and puffy under-eye bags of the lower eyelids.

When doing a blepharoplasty for hooded eyelids is it better to take less off if you suffer from dry eyes.

Thanks Marlene for the great question.

According to Dr. Kleinman, even taking a small amount of skin has some risk in a patient with dry eye and the alternatives should be discussed with a board certified plastic surgeon.
