Liposuction is a very safe procedure provided that it is performed by a qualifed physician.  The most qualified physician to perform that type of procedure is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Going to someone who has the experience and the training is probably the best place to start.
