JUVÉDERM™Ultra Plus is a colorless, hyaluronic acid gel that may be injected beneath facial areas to improve wrinkles and folds. Juvederm is particularly effective in smoothing lines around the nose and mouth. A naturally occurring sugar found in the human body, hyaluronic acid is important to the skin because it delivers nutrients, acts as a cushioning agent, and holds in water to hydrate the skin.
