JUVEDERM Ultra Plus is a colorless, hyaluronic acid gel that may be injected beneath facial areas to improve wrinkles and folds. Juvederm is particularly effective in smoothing lines around the nose and mouth. A naturally occurring sugar found in the human body, hyaluronic acid is important to the skin because it delivers nutrients, acts as a cushioning agent, and holds in water to hydrate the skin.

JUVEDERM Ultra Plus may be used to treat moderate to several facial wrinkles and folds. Once injected beneath the skin, Juvederm temporarily adds volume to facial areas, restoring a more youthful and smoother appearance.
