R.D. - Fairfield County, Connecticut Let me just start by saying that I am not brave. I pass out by the mere mention of blood. I am afraid of needles, knives, R rated movies, and even boats! The other day I stubbed my toe and it caused a little bleeding, unfortunately I curled up on the bathroom floor in fright. I think you get the picture, I am not brave. I mention this because I was able to set aside this fear and place my trust in Dr. Kleinman, in the hopes that I would be able to go through breast augmentation surgery that I had desired for most of my life. I had always considered myself to be pretty flat chested, and I think that perhaps interfered a little bit with my self esteem. So after many years of consideration and talking it over with my husband, I decided to finally have the breast augmentation done. Boy, do I wish I hadn’t waited so long! Dr. Kleinman and his staff were very helpful in assisting me in making the best choice for me. I was basically an A or perhaps a small B-Cup. I just wanted my breasts to be proportional to the rest of my body, and Dr. Kleinman encouraged that line of thinking. After making the decision, approximately a month passed wherein there was a follow up fitting and then finally the day for surgery. Did I mention previously that I am afraid of everything? Well, the staff at Sound Shore Medical Center was very caring and put me at ease. The last thing I remember was laughing as they wheeled me into the operating room saying, I can’t believe I’m doing this, I’m afraid of everything; I still have all my teeth! Post operative there was some pain, but I didn’t even feel the need to take any pain medication once I got home. I took a couple of Tylenol and that was it! In three days I was out and about as normal, visiting family at a summer house on the beach. It has now been approximately six weeks since surgery and I couldn’t be more pleased. I am now proportionally sized (probably a small C-Cup) and I am able to buy all the pretty bras that I have been longing for my whole life. I highly recommend Dr. Kleinman. I have been, and continue to be very impressed with both his technical expertise as well as his professional approach. |
